Kindergarden and Preschool

Our preschool program is centred on the individual empowerment and holistic development of your child with fun, joy and aliveness.

Promote Investigation

We utilise design thinking practices in our preschool room to support our children to problem solve and create solutions for projects they are working on. As society evolves, so does education. We are consistently critically reflecting on our practice, refining and evolving it to ensure children are getting the best possible education experience.

Individual Learning Plan

Our children are active members in their own learning process. We consult the children and ask them what they would like to learn and support them to set goals and plan for their own learning. In creating a space where children are empowered in their own learning, learning becomes fun and self led. We create an environment where children are in love with learning and seeking it for themselves.

School Consulations

When designing our preschool programs we ask the experts! We collaborate with the local schools and the schools your children are going to. We ask them what they would like us to do to support your children’s transition to school. The feedback from schools is used to shape our preschool/transition to school program.

Responsibility

We are big believers in supporting our children to be responsible members of society. In creating responsibility in the here and now our children develop amazing prosocial skills and act out of selflessness and empathy toward their peers and others. When you walk into our spaces you will see children who are accepting, loving and supportive of each other's differences.

Social Constructivism

We believe that children are capable and work together to construct their own learning. In our learning through play environment, children are given the opportunity to bounce ideas off one another, work together and construct learning and meaning with each other every single day. So yes, we do not do not do preschool the traditional way. It is a shift in the way early education is delivered but hey, we are in a revolution that is all about innovation so it’s time education caught up.

Holistic Education
Social-emotional
Your child is supported to be an autonomous, kind, caring and compassionate decision maker and develop empathy through a focus on prosocial behaviour and skills. We strive to support your child to problem solve in the social world with resilience, power and responsibility.
Cognitive
Problem solving, puzzling, writing and language, construction, and many more domains are part of your child's daily development.
Pre-writing
We support your child to develop the fine muscle strength and control they will need to write. This extends not only to writing but to skills such as cutting, threading, pulling up a zipper, unlocking a lunchbox and more.
Pre-reading
We support literacy and development of understanding of literary concepts with a literacy rich environment through approaches such as PreLit, Jolly Phonics and more.
Fundamental Movement
We support your child to develop strong muscles and left and right brain coordination through activities and play that promote physical development and complex movement patterns.

Emerging Content
STEAM
